Bugging

The bug flies about
buzzing my ear.
I sat anxious to
get it away.
I wonder how it
got in and
hoped for a chance
to end the pitiful life.
The bug’s demise
only brings another.
Carefully buzzing my ear.
The irritating harmony
sent me into a rage.
Two down and another comes.
If only the bug
was only a few.
Then I could be done
with this madness.
The splots of blood
and guts add up.
The next seems bent on revenge.
Why won’t they
leave me alone?
